14 - 15 Sep 2024
Wondering where to start to make your home warmer in winter, cooler in summer, and to save on energy bills? Visit an Energy Saving Home during Oxford Open Doors 14-15 September 2024, and find out how your neighbours have approached the challenge. More open homes will be added to the event as it gets closer.
Oxford Preservation Trust is hosting Energy Saving Homes this September! Visit a home in your part of Oxford and find out how the homeowner upgraded their house to make it warmer in winter and cooler in summer. There are many homes which will open over 14-15 September.
Energy Saving Homes in Oxford is a project to encourage residents to improve the energy efficiency of their homes, through both large and small measures. Energy Saving Homes was established in 2022 where it also had a stall at Energy Saving Fair at Oxford Town Hall which gave a series of talks, films and advice booklets for householders, tenants and landlords. You can see the recordings of the talks on YouTube at: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLpecfl9qbrmv_ySSLss1luQhCtBdJy2RS&si=CLj1SrciRATAINFo
